Quotables are pre-created shipments for someone who doesn't know where the shipment is going yet. For example, if you're selling something on Craigslist or a forum, and want to make it easy for people to get shipping estimates, you can use Quotables. A Quotable is just your sending address and the information about the package (weight/dimensions).

Once you create the Quotable, ShipCalc provides you with a Quote link that you can place on your product page or email to people. When the link is visited, it only asks for the recipient's zip code and then gives them a shipping estimate based on the parameters you specified.
